Synopsis

Vivian French is a bestselling children’s author who has written over 40 books for Walker, and more than 250 books during the course of her career. Her recent work includes the critically acclaimed picture book The Most Wonderful Thing in the World and the junior fiction title The Adventures of Alfie Onion. Julie Lacome is a highly talented freelance illustrator. She has published over 30 children’s books, including the hugely popular Walker title Walking Through the Jungle. She studied at Central St. Martin’s and Edinburgh College of Art, where she now works part-time as a tutor of Illustration. Her illustration work has included commissions for advertising agencies, TV companies, greeting cards and design companies. She lives in Edinburgh.
