This pack includes multiple copies of “Whistling Thorn”; a teacher’s resource book with lesson plans for use within the Literacy Hour structure; and supporting photocopiable activity sheets for pupils. Lessons are organized under headings of whole-classwork, group work and plenary. An overview grid provides at-a-glance information about the word, sentence and text-level. Each teacher’s book has an A1 double-sided, text-based poster in the middle for use as shared text for whole class teaching.
