This is my second story about Tom Donoghue and his irrepressible pal, Kevin Murphy. Together with Tom’s Mum and sister Anna, they find themselves caught up, not only in an avalanche, but also in an explosives smuggling ring when they’re meant to be having a peaceful winter holiday. But life is never quiet when these guys are around … I’ve used some of my own experience in this story. It’s set in Grandville, which is really Meribel in France, where I had a winter holiday as an au pair. And the flying scene is based on my first flight in a private plane, piloted by my husband Chris. But everything else is imagination!
