Synopsis
An historical and romantic thriller set in the time of the film Braveheart. In 1314 the Normans attack north-west Clare. Thanks to the quick thinking of young Shane, heir to Drumshee, the Norman troops are lured onto marshy land and defeated. However, Shane is captured. The only consolation is that the stepson of the constable of King John’s Castle has been captured by the Irish. Will they exchange prisoners?
