About the Author
Peter Bently is an award-winning, bestselling picture book author. A Lark in the Ark, Peter’s very first picture book, was shortlisted for the 2009 Red House Children’s Book Award. He has written many other books for children, including King Jack and the Dragon, which was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, and he has twice been shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, which he won in 2011 with Cats Ahoy!
Steven Lenton is an author, illustrator and animation director based in East Sussex. He is the illustrator of the bestselling Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam series which was both the Waterstones picture book of the month and The Times Children’s Book of the Week.
