There is a carefree intimacy evoked in all the ilustrations – hot drinks and a cuddle beside the wood-burner, sandlas drying on the hearth amidst a tumble of collected shells. When is the right time? Right now, with a goodnight kiss – I LOVE YOU!! Perfect. (Books for Keeps )

The warmth of this book makes it perfect for mothers and little daughters to cuddle up and read together. It would also be suitable for a nursery or Early Years reading corner. (English 4-11 )

Clare Walters has worked together with Jane Kemp in the parenting market for many years, most recently as features editor and deputy editor of the respected babycare magazine Practical Parenting. They are co-authors of 15 successful childrens books. Clare originally trained as a primary school teacher, and still has a strong interest in education and early learning.
