One day, Henry meets a dog. Dog is friendly but sad. He needs a best friend. Dog describes to Henry what a best friend does. After learning what a best friend is, Henry has a great idea! He and Dog will go on amazing adventures together in new environments (under the sea, outer space, deepest jungle) and meet lots of interesting characters and potential best friends.
So off they go. Alas, each place poses a problem for Dog (he can’t breathe under water; he keeps floating off into space; the jungle is way too sticky for his fur) which means he can’t stay there and he and Henry head home.
With time to think, Dog realises maybe he does have a best friend after all: Henry!
