About the Author.
Claire Freedman lives on the Essex coast. She has worked for the BBC, Harrods and for a reprographic company and now writes full-time. She has written many children’s books, including Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones and I Love You, Sleepyhead for Little Tiger Press. Simon Mendez was born in York and has loved to draw for as long as he can remember. He took a General Art and Design course at York Technical College and then studied Scientific and Natural History Illustration at Fylde College in Blackpool.
