She lives in Minnesota, USA. Will Hillenbrand is an acclaimed illustrator of several books for children, including Country Crocodiles by Judy Sierra, and the author and illustrator of Down by the Station. While working on this book, he thought he should try kissing a cow. ‘I was willing,’ he recalls, ‘but the cow wasn’t.’ Will lives in Ohio with his wife and young son.
