About the Author

Claire Barker is an award-winning author of fantasy stories for children. She grew up within earshot of the sea, has lived on narrowboats, in cities and on wild little farms. She was once employed to brush Persian cats’ fur in a spooky hilltop mansion.

Being much more sensible these days, she writes magical stories in an iron wagon in the middle of nowhere.
