Amongst others, she has written for the Guardian, Sunday Telegraph and Green Futures and she has worked for Friends of the Earth. She lives in Portsmouth. IRIS TEICHMANN is a linguist and writer who has worked for various organizations concerned with immigration; until recently, she was information manager for the Refugee Council. Originally from Germany, she now lives in London.
