Amy has always loved cats and is thrilled when she spots a tiny little black kitten in her garden. Although she has no collar, she looks too well cared for to be a stray. Misty starts to spend more and more time with Amy, but just as she starts to think of the kitten as hers, the real owners show up.
About the Author.
Holly Webb started writing while working as a children’s books editor and has now written books for Scholastic, Bloomsbury and Orchard, as well as fourteen titles for Stripes Publishing. She lives in Reading with her husband and their young family, along with their very spoil cat. Sophy Williams took a degree in graphic art at Kingston and in 1988 was runner-up in the Reader’s Digest Young Illustrators Competition in 1981 her first illustrated book When Grandma Came was runner-up for the Mother Goose Award.
